After leaving Alliance Communications in 1995, he created Fireworks Entertainment, which would eventually go on to produce well-known films like 1987's "Robocop․"
After Fireworks Entertainment was acquired by CanWest Global in 1998, he would establish Prodigy Pictures which would go on to produce Canadian television series such as "Lost Girl․"
