  • Among his notable roles, he is also well-known for his role on ABC's "Head of the Class" in the late '80s and several appearances on "The Bob Newhart Show"
  • Close friend of Janis Joplin before her death in 1970
  • Often appears as an alter ego character named 'Don Sturdy'
