• Following several successful stints on series such as "The Practice" and "Two and a Half Men", she would later return to the stage with her own play, Ann: An Affectionate Portrait of Ann Richards, for which she would land a Tony nomination
• Despite having trained on Broadway for years, she began studying jazz and ballet with coach Stella Adler in the late 1970s at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City
