• Was nominated for Best Supporting Performance by a Male in a Dramatic Series at the 2008 Leo Awards for the "Life in the Dollhouse" episode of "Durham County․"
• Filmmaker David DeCoteau discovered him at a model and talent convention in Vancouver, Canada

• Took his first acting class during his senior year of high school and loved it so much that he decided to pursue the art professionally
