• Volunteers with the charity Famous Fone Friends, through which he calls hospitalized children and entertains them with his character voices
• Was named one of Animation Magazine's Top 15 Voice Actors of the New Generation in January 2001
• Attended Colgate University, first as an English major before switching to Theatre after a friend convinced him to audition for a role in a play he was in
• Began his voice-over career doing voices for a children's show and as a booth announcer at a local PBS station

• Was a member of the improv comedy troupe The Groundlings and performed on stage in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," "Cloud Nine," and "Loose Lips․"
