• Best known for performing the character of Monsieur Adolphe in the romantic drama “Belle de Jour” starring Catherine Deneuve, Jean Sorel and Michel Piccoli in 1967
• His father was stage actor Louis Blanche, his uncle was painter Emmanuel Blanche, and he had three children with Arlette Rebora, including actor Jean-Marie Blanche
• He performed the main character of Antoine Tartarin in the French comedy “Tartarin de Tarascon” alongside Alfred Adam and Jacqueline Maillan in 1962
• On top of being an actor in films, he was also a playwright, humorist, broadcaster, singer-songwriter of more than 300 songs, and was a recognized as a court specialist in cases for music legal rights
