• Appeared as the special guest at the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco in 2008
• His graphic novel "Chumble Spuzz" was nominated for the Eisner Award
• During his time at North Bend High School, he was the staff cartoonist and the school's publication "The Barker․"
• When he was 29 and he was playing with his 5-year-old brother, he got the idea of using his younger brother's whacky ideas in a web comic to get some practice writing in that medium, which spawned the popular "Axe Cop" web comic
• Known for writing and illustrating such web comics as "Axe Cop" and "Bearmageddon․"
• Played bass and sang lead vocals for a band called Luneractive
• Drew the art for an expansion to the Steve Jackson Game "Munchkin" featuring "Axe Cop․"
