• Graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Theatre and Drama and a Master's in Theatre Management
• Began acting in plays in high school, where she met Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell, who would later ask her to be in her first film, "Shemp Eats the Moon․"
• Worked as a runway model, a singer in the jazz band All Directions, and also starred in stage productions at the Michigan Repertory
• Best known for her role as Cheryl in "The Evil Dead" and as Cheryl in "My Name is Bruce․"
• After "The Evil Dead," she moved to Asheville, North Carolina, where she worked for several years as the business manager of the Asheville Symphony Orchestra
• Her voice from the original "Evil Dead" film appears in the 2013 remake by the same name
• Was the voice of Lucy in the animated short film "Where's the Vampire․"
