• Graduated from California State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts
• Wrote his first script, "Harley Davidson & the Marlboro Man," on a legal pad
• Early on, he worked as a bellman at the Sheraton Newport Beach Hotel while acting on stage and starring in over 50 commercials
• Has adapted several novels to film, including John Gilstrap's "Nathan's Run․"
• Won a four-picture contract with MGM that resulted in such action films as "Public Enemies" and "Night of the Hunter․"
• Due to his profession he has been to Berlin, Budapest and Bulgaria
• Joined the Bel Air Country Club in order to play golf there
