• Won a CableACE Award for Actress in a Comedy Series for "Dream On" in 1995 and was nominated for two more in 1993 and 1994
• Graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Drama and Fine Arts in 1973
• Made her Broadway debut in "Gypsy," starring Angela Lansbury, in 1974

• Best known as a "Saturday Night Live" cast member and as Toby Pedalbee in "Dream On․"

• Developed several original "Saturday Night Live" characters, including Debbie the Valley Girl and the puppeteer Marie Louise, and also impersonated Amy Carter and Yoko Ono
