• Wrote three monologues for an event at the Old Vic Theatre in support of Dramatic Need in 2010
• Won a British Comedy Award for Best Television Comedy Drama for "Pulling" in 2009
• Was nominated for a BAFTA TV Award and a Banff Rockie Award for Best Situation Comedy for "Pulling" in 2007
• Graduated from Goldsmiths College with a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts
• Started out as a series writer for the TV show "Velvet Soup" in 2001
• Worked in supermarkets as a teenager and discovered theatre when he joined a local youth group at the Barnet Drama Centre
