  • His first Foo Fighters album with an official band, "The Colour and the Shape," reached the top ten of the album charts in 1997 and featured the hit songs "Monkey Wrench," "Everlong" and "My Hero․"

  • Got an audition to become the drummer for Nirvana in 1990 thanks to Buzz Osbourne of the Melvins
