  • He and Dick Martin made two films together, "Once Upon a Horse" in 1958 and "The Maltese Bippy" in 1969, as well as a comedy album in 1960 called "Rowan and Martin at Work․"
  • Met Dick Martin, then a radio comedy writer, in 1952 and the two began performing at nightclubs
  • Was responsible for coining a number of popular catchphrases on "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In," including "Blow in my ear and I'll follow you anywhere" and "Sock it to me!"
  • Also made notable appearances on "The Andy Williams Show," "Fantasy Island," and "The Love Boat․"
