• Worked as a model and magazine cover girl in New York before becoming an actress
• Though she was signed to a major studio based on her photogenic qualities, during the time of her contract she was given few film roles and instead kept busy modeling for fashion pictures and leg art
• Appeared in a number of lower budge science fiction films in the 1950s
• When she was dropped from her first studio contract, she started to land costarring roles, notably in "Panhandle," "For You I Die" and "The Noose Hangs High․"
