• Became well known after joining the cast of "All My Children" in 1997, garnering a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Male Newcomer in 1999, as well as three Daytime Emmy nominations
• Attended McGill University in Montréal, Canada, where he graduated with a GPA of 3․7 and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• When he was 2 years old he was diagnosed with Perthes disease, requiring him to wear leg braces for nearly four years, and had to receive treatment at a young age
• Started his career in film with the 1998 drama "54," as well as appearing in the Canadian film "Washed Up" in 2000
• Has appeared in numerous TV shows such as "The Drew Carey Show," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," and "What I Like About You․"
• Hosted the British-based show reality show "I Wanna Be a Soap Star" from 2004 until its last season in 2007
• Guest-starred on ABC’s "Dancing With The Stars" in 2007, on which he placed 5th overall paired with professional ballroom dancer Edyta Sliwinska
