• Graduated from New York University with a degree in theater
• Began acting at the age of 7, when his sister's dance class informed their parents that the Omaha Ballet needed children for "The Nutcracker," and he ended up in the lead role
• His first national role was in a commercial for Cookie Crisp cereal when he was 12 years old
