• Starred in the 1964 TV series "Flipper," for which he received a TV Land Award nomination for Favorite Pet-Human Relationship
• He served with the Marine Corps during the Korean War, after which he graduated from the University of Notre Dame
• After attending the University of Michigan Law School for one year he decided to take on an acting career, and began to model and act in radio and TV commercials
• Guest starred on multiple popular TV series such as "The Beverly Hillbillies," "The Rifle Man," and appeared regularly on the short-running "21 Beacon Street․"
• Made his film producing debut with "Blade Runner" starring the popular Harrison Ford, as well as being the associate producer of "Cities of the Wild․"
• Suffered from a serious motorcycle accident, injuring right arm and leg which later remained paralyzed, costing him his on-camera career
