Fast Facts

• Graduated from Queen's University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and earned his Master's from New York University in 1997
• In order to fund his early inventions and sculptures, he made stop-motion animation for MTV and Disney
• After graduating, he spent six months in restoring bronze statues in Central Park
• Worked in Istanbul for four years, appearing on Turkish TV and also touring the world showing his projects
• Best known as the star of the science series "ThingamaBob," in which he invents contraptions out of a mystery box of items
• Has worked as a production designer for music videos by "Metric" and the "Yeah Yeah Yeahs․"
• Studied painting for a year at the l'Atelier Libre in Aix-en-Provence, France
