• Was twice nominated for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television for "Boston Legal" at the PGA Awards, once in 2006 and once in 2009
• An episode of "Ally McBeal" called "The Last Virgin" earned him a nomination for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in a Comedy Series from the Directors Guild of America
• Earned his undergraduate degree at Ithaca College and his master's degree in communication arts from William Paterson University, graduating from the latter in 1972
• During the 1980s, he made a career out of directing television commercials
• Some of his most acclaimed efforts as a director and producer are "Chicago Hope," "Ally McBeal" and "Boston Legal․"
• His independent film "The Feud" won him notice from Steven Bochco, he hired him to direct an episode of "Doogie Howser, M․D․," helping him break into television directing
• Is given special thanks in the credits of 1998's "Very Bad Things․"
