• Before deciding to pursue acting full time, she worked towards obtaining a Master's degree in Global Affairs from NYU
• Made her first television appearance at the age of 11 after choreographing an Indian dance performance

• Has studied the Indian dance Bharatanatyam, and obtained a brown belt in Karate
