• Began acting at four-years-old, but worked under various pseudonyms so that her family would not find out about her beloved profession
• After signing as a stock company member with Columbia in the late '30s, she would quickly be noticed by director Frank Capra who would go on to cast her in dozens of his own works
• Over the course of her century-long career, she would appear in more than 1,000 television episodes and 500 feature films
• Donated her $400,000 estate to the Motion Picture Country House, a retirement home that has served as home to some of Hollywood's most elite for several decades
