• Started the Amaury Nolasco & Friends Golf Classic in an effort to help various non-profit Puerto Rican organizations, including the University of Puerto Rico Pediatric Hospital
• Was nominated for the 2006 ALMA Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Television Series
