Amanda Walsh Biography

• Studied acting at John Abbott College, Kids in Action and The Second City
• Started out doing school plays, improv, and other small acting projects while still in school in Montreal
• Was working as a waitress when she was discovered by a producer for MuchMusic who went to her restaurant, who encouraged her to send in a tape of her sketches
• Has appeared in stage productions of "12 Angry Jurors," "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "Cabaret․"
• Learned how to produce while she worked for MuchMusic and says editing is her favorite part of the process
• Was cast in the original pilot for the series "Big Bang Theory․"
• Was the youngest VJ in MuchMusic history when she was hired at the age of 19
