• Studied voice at the Chicago Conservatory of Music and graduated from the Goodman School of Drama
• Had his first major acting gig as Danny Zuko in a touring stage production of "Grease," and would later star twice in the same role on Broadway
• Made his screen acting debut in the TV series "Starsky and Hutch" in 1978
• First began acting in a high school production of "Guys and Dolls" after his football career ended with broken leg
• Best known for his role as Officer Vince Romano in "T․J․ Hooker" and as Johnny Nogerelli in "Grease 2․"
• In later seasons of "T․J․ Hooker," he and William Shatner would film car scenes for several episodes in one sitting, operating the sound and camera equipment themselves and calling themselves "Shatner-Zmed Productions․"
• Had his own show called "Adrian Zmed, In Concert․․․" on board Princess Cruise Lines in 2009
