The CW's 2019-2020 Fall TV Lineup: What You Need to Know

Get the latest on The CW's new and returning shows

While other networks scramble to fill in their schedule gaps after giving several shows the ax, The CW's lineup is staying relatively stable going into the new TV season.

The CW renewed every single series -- that wasn't already slated for a final season -- on its roster. Supergirl, Arrow,The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow,Black Lightning, Riverdale,Supernatural, Charmed,Legacies, and Dynasty were all renewed in January. Then in April, the network handed out renewals for the rest of its slate, which included The 100, All American, In the Dark, and Roswell, New Mexico. But while every single show on The CW roster will return during the 2019-2020 season, it will mark the end of two of the network's longest running series, as Arrow and Supernatural will both be coming to a close after one last run.

These renewals are great news for fans of The CW's current programming, but it also made it a competitive pilot season for new series hoping to snag a series order. With only three shows on their way out (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin, andiZombie), The CW didn't have much wiggle room on their schedule, but they did choose to move forward with the Arrowverse spin-off Batwomanand the Riverdale spin-off Katy Keene, as well as a new adaptation of Nancy Drew.

Below you'll find all of the news related to The CW's 2019-2020 schedule. For more information, check out everything you need to know about CBS, NBC, Fox, and ABC's fall lineups here.
