MTV Taps Arrow Alum for Scream TV Series

MTV has recast one of the leads in its TV adaptation of Scream, Deadline.com reports.

Arrow's Bex Taylor-Klaus will replace Amy Forsyth as Audrey Jensen in the series, which is based on the hit movie franchise. Jensen is described as being the artistic loner daughter of a Lutheran pastor.

The small screen version of Scream focuses on a high school student named Emma (Royal Pains' Willa Fitzgerald), whose good lucks gets her in with the cool kids, but leave her estranged from her childhood BFF, Audrey. The project kicks off when a YouTube video goes viral and serves as a catalyst for a murder.

Taylor-Klaus' most recent credits include the recurring role of DC Comics character Sin on The CW's Arrow, and Bullet on AMC's The Killing.
