ABC's 2019-2020 Fall TV Lineup: What You Need to Know

Get the latest on ABC's new and returning shows

ABC will continue to capitalize on its audiences' thirst for reality competition shows again this fall, with another round of celebs shaking a leg on Dancing With the Stars and even more of those gripping investment interviews with inventors on Shark Tank. And fear not, Bachelor Nation -- The Bachelor will be back at some point too.

Of course, ABC has also become something of a go-to for medical dramas, with The Good Doctorearning a loyal audience of millions and Grey's Anatomy scoring a two-season renewal ahead of its 16th season. Fellow Shonda Rhimes drama How to Get Away with Murder will also return -- but Rhimes' typical TGIT block is being broken up once again by 2018 breakout hit A Million Little Things. But don't worry, Station 19will return midseason with even more Grey's Anatomy crossovers.

Station 19, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and American Idol will also return during ABC's upcoming season.

On the comedy end, Modern Family, which has been a staple of the network for a full decade now, will return for one last run with its 11th and final season. The Conners is also back after proving the family has some staying power beyond the controversies that upended the Roseanne revival. American Housewife, black-ish, Bless This Mess, The Goldbergs,Schooled, Fresh Off the Boat, Single Parents, and The Rookie were also renewed.

Unfortunately, not every show made the cut -- the network has canceled Whiskey Cavalier, The Kids Are Alright, The Fix, For the People, Speechless, and Splitting Up Together.
