The new season of The Good Wife is starting to take shape.

The acclaimed legal drama has cast Aliasalum Melissa George and English actress Juliet Rylance in juicy recurring roles, TVLine reports.

George will play Marilyn, Peter's (Chris Noth) smart, sexy and savvy new in-house ethics counsel. The character is described as a stickler for honesty and observing the rules — sound similar to someone else in Peter's life? However, it is unclear just how Marilyn will deal with master manipulator Eli (Alan Cumming) as well as the Florrick campaige's vote-rigging that was revealed in the Season 4 finale.

It is similarly unclear how George's new gig will affect a possible Hunted spin-off that is now in the works at Cinemax. George starred in the series last fall, and the new project is said to center on her character. In addition to her role as Mrs. Vaughn, George has guest-starred on Grey's Anatomy, Friends and Lie to Me.

Meanwhile, Rylance (Sinister) will romance Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) as Holly, a whip-smart Assitant State's Attorney who shares a past with our favorite private investigator. Let's just hope there's no ice cream involved.
