VIDEO: Friends Stars Reunite — and It Isn't So Friendly

Tension was high during a mini-Friends reunion — but it was all fun and games for The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

In the staged video, Jennifer Aniston heads to former co-star Matthew Perry's house for advice for her co-hosting gig on Wednesday's Ellen. Perry, who's not too happy that she showed up unannounced, doesn't have a lot of words of wisdom to offer — and could not be more annoyed when Aniston references his recently canceled series Go On. Aniston, however, is stunned to find out that he's sleeping with Courteney Cox. Soon Portia de Rossi and DeGeneres herself attempt to stealthily slip out of Perry's house.

Nine seasons and countless "that's what she saids" later, the Scranton party will stop on Thursday, May 16 at 9/8c on NBC.

TVGuide.com spoke to stars Rainn Wilson (Dwight Schrute), Jenna Fischer (Pam Beesly-Halpert), Angela Kinsey (Angela Martin), Oscar Nunez (Oscar Martinez), Kate Flannery (Meredith Palmer), Ellie Kemper (Erin Hannon), Jake Lacy (Pete Campbell), producer and director Ken Kwapis, and executive producers Greg Daniels, Ben Silverman and Mike Schur about The Office's long, strange trip from British underground hit to America's favorite workplace. Premise: A classic sitcom that reflected the lives of six twentysomething friends: three men and three women, living in New York. Sometimes touching and often hilarious, it addressed universal themes like falling in---or out of---love, finding a job and dealing with (as well as becoming) parents, and inspired numerous friends-themed knockoffs, none of which conveyed the warmth and humor of the original. A spin-off, `Joey,' featuring Matt LeBlanc's character, was slated to debut in the fall of 2004.
