Two and a Half Men Renewed for Season 11 --- But There's a Twist!

CBS has renewed Two and a Half Men for Season 11, the network confirmed Friday.

The announcement comes on the heels of stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer each signing new one-year contracts. However, one cast member that isn't coming back full-time is half man Angus T. Jones, Deadline reports. However, the hope is for Jones to return as a recurring guest star next season.

Back in November, Jones made waves when a taped testimonial  he made for the religious organization Forerunner Chronicles surfaced online. In the video, he called Two and a Half Men "filth" and urged viewers not to watch so he would no longer have to work on the show. He later apologized.  When asked about possibly replacing Jones the following month, CBS boss Les Moonves was cryptic. "We have other plans," he said at an industry event held earlier this week and hosted by The Wall Street Journal.

In recent years, Jones also has had hopes to attend college. He was originally planning not to come back full-time for Season 10, but changed his mind at the last minute, according to Deadline.

Two and a Half Men's pickup comes a month after CBS renewed 14 series, including comedies Mike & Molly and 2 Broke Girls. (How I Met Your Motherand The Big Bang Theorywere previously renewed).
