The Kardashian family was the target of a fake 911 call last week that sent a SWAT team to their former residence in Malibu, the Associated Press reports.
Police are now looking for the person who called 911 and reported an emergency at the residence, according to the report. When police arrived and found the house empty, they called the Kardashians and went to their new home, about 20 miles away. No arrests were made.

The call may have been an attempt at "swatting," police told the AP, in which pranksters try to get SWAT teams deployed to a home under false pretenses. Similar incidents have occurred at the homes of Tom Cruise, Justin Bieber and Ashton Kutcher, according to the AP.
Kim Kardashian, for one, was not amused.
"These prank calls are NOT funny!" Kardashian tweeted. "People can get arrested for this! I hope they find out who is behind this. Its dangerous & not a joke!"
Kardashian added that her mother, Kris Jenner, told her that 15 SWAT teams and three helicopters were deployed after the 911 call said someone was shot inside their home.
