The 42-year-old actor, whose credits also include 24and Hellcats, will play Dr. Joseph Prestidge, a doctor and potential love interest for Jasmine (Joy Bryant). He will first appear in Episode 3 of the new season, premiering Tuesday, Sept. 13, 10/9c on NBC.
Buffy's Spike and Cordelia to play husband and wife on Supernatural
Many Buffy vets have found more permanent homes on TV, including Bones' David Boreanaz and How I Met Your Mother's Alyson Hannigan.
