Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Are Married

It's official — no, seriously this time.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were married Saturday, a spokesperson for the couple told The Associated Press.

The news comes after months of speculation about whether the pair had already tied the knot and years of tongue-wagging about when they would exchange rings.

Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, wed in Correns, France in a private, nondenominational civil ceremony at Chateau Miraval, according to the AP. Their sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked Jolie down the aisle. Daughters Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, were flower girls. Daughter Shiloh, 8, and son Knox, 6, served as ringbearers.

Pitt was previously married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005. This is the third marriage for Jolie, who was previously married to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.

The couple, who have been together since 2005, will appear onscreen together in the upcoming film By the Sea, which will be written and directed by Jolie. It's their first time co-starring since 2005's Mr. and Mrs. Smith, during which they became an item.
