VIDEO: The Voice Pays Tribute to Newtown Victims

The Voice finale is known for being a lively few hours of splashy song and dance, but before the top three performed on Monday, the series paid a touching tribute to the fallen children and faculty killed in Friday's shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.Coaches Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton and CeeLo Green joined the top three, host Carson Daly, Christina Milian and former Season 3 contestants on stage for a moving rendition of "Hallelujah."

With candles lining the stage, each cast member held up a card displaying the name and age of one of the deceased.The Voice follows in the footsteps of Saturday Night Live, which forwent its typical lighthearted cold open in favor of a children's choir performing "Silent Night" in honor of the Newtown, Conn., victims.Watch the tribute below.
