TNT Orders Legends from Homeland Producers

TNT has ordered 10 episodes of the drama Legends starring Game of Thrones alum Sean Bean, the network announced on Wednesday. Based on the a book by the same name by Robert Littell, Legends is about an undercover agent named Martin Odum (Bean) who works for the FBI's Deep Cover Operations division. Martin can transform himself into a completely different person for each job, but starts to question his own identity when a stranger suggests that he isn't the man he believes himself to be.

Ali Larter (Heroes), Rob Mayes (The Client List), Tina Majorino (Grey's Anatomy), Steve Harris (The Practice), Amber Valletta (Revenge) and Lux Haney Jardine (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) also star.

"Legends has everything you want in a good spy drama: intriguing characters, multi-layered plots, a terrific cast and lots of action and suspense," Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TNT, said.

The series, which premieres in 2014, will be executive-produced by Howard Gordon (Homeland), Alexander Cary (Homeland) and Jonathan Levin (Charmed) with Sleeper Cell creators Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris serving as showrunners.David Semel (Person of Interest) directed and executive-produced the pilot.
