Heroes Episode Recap: "The Fifth Stage"

In this episode of Heroes, Claire and Gretchen take a tour of Samuel's carnival to get a closer look at what the carny leader is offering. Meanwhile, HRG tries to track Claire down while also confessing his interest in rekindling the flirtations between him and Lauren that she had "Haitian-ed" in the past. And Peter, who sets out on a mission to bring Nathan back, puts a serious beating on Sylar (with a nail gun!). Would Peter be able to save Nathan? Of course not, but let's find out how everything played out anyway.

House
8/7c Fox
Always the dutiful, if fitful, sidekick, Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) gets an episode of his very own. You'll get a peek at the oncology ward, meet his staff and even see him face an ethical dilemma that doesn't involve House (though House does get involved) when he treats an old friend (Joshua Malina) whom he thought no longer needed his professional services. Meanwhile, this is the last episode of the year, so you'll have to live with its Huddy (Luddy?) developments until January.

Any chance we'll see a Wilson-Cuddy hookup on House? — Allison
MICKEY: I suppose this is a natural progression after we all lived through Huddy, but Robert Sean Leonard disabused us of that notion when we asked. "I think [Wilson] is a dark guy. He has three ex-wives, he lives alone, deals with death every day and his best friend is House," he says. "So when I think about him with Cuddy, it doesn't work." Fine, so then maybe there's someone else out there for him? Not for now, says Leonard. He'll just have to content himself with a domestic partner (as in roommate) in House. They'll be going apartment-hunting together soon.

I'm obsessed with Criminal Minds! Are they ever going to get Prentiss a boyfriend? — Erin

Heroes Episode Recap: "Thanksgiving"

In this episode of Heroes, families gathered 'round the table to give thanks, but, because it's a TV show about people with abilities, all the meals ended somewhat disastrously. HRG made his first attempt at hosting Turkey Day extra difficult by inviting his ex-wife, her new flame, and HRG's old partner Lauren. The carny band's twisted feast quickly got off track when Hiro and Lydia took a trip back in time, and Mama Petrelli spilled her dirty little secrets about Nathan's death before the first course was served.  So was the show as sweet as pumpkin pie? Let's find out.
