All of Amy Poehler's hard work has finally paid off.

After years of crafting hilarious awards show bits — such as the victory speech she "accidentally" switched with Best Actress in a Comedy winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus at this year's Emmys — the Parks and Recreationstar has been tapped to co-host the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards with Tina Fey on Sunday, Jan. 13.

The gig marks a reunion for the two Saturday Night Live vets, who also shared the big screen in 2008's Baby Mama. "Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year's festivities is a major coup," Paul Telegdy, NBC Entertainment's President of Alternative and Late Night Programming, said in a statement. "Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on SNL to their successful co-starring roles in Baby Mama."

Executive producers Allen Shapiro, Orly Adelson and Barry Adelman added in a joint statement: "It's exciting to have two of the most respected names in comedy. Amy and Tina's well known chemistry along with their spontaneity and glamour makes them a perfect fit for the Golden Globes."

Ricky Gervais: I'm never hosting the Golden Globes again!

Poehler, a Golden Globe nominee, and Fey, a two-time Golden Globe winner for 30 Rock,  succeed controversial emcee Ricky Gervais, who hosted three years in a row before announcing after last year's show that he would never host again.

The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards will air on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 8 ET /5 PT on NBC.

Do you think Poehler and Fey will make a good team?
