Report: Producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick Leaving American Idol

Idol's longtime executive producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick are expected to be fired before Season 13 gets underway, sources tell the Hollywood Reporter. Fox had no comment.

Fox's reality TV brain-trust Mike Darnell stepped down May 24, casting a shadow of doubt over where the show would go next. High-profile Idol alums -- including Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson -- have been rumored to join the judges' table in 2014.
