Justin Bieber took home two trophies at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night, but he certainly wasn't a winner when it came to the audience vote.
The teen singer, who's been involved in a number of controversial incidents this year, was loudly booed when he accepted the Milestone Award (for "musical ingenuity and innovation," according to presenter CeeLo Green), the final award of the evening, beating out Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift. The award came after he had performed twice on the show.

Third time's the charm for American Idol's Season 12 champ.
Candice Glover's victory on the reality singing competition show Thursday night comes after two major setbacks. She had previously auditioned in Season 9 and 11 and even made it to the Hollywood rounds, where she was then eliminated. She came back again in Season 12 and this time, made it to the very end.

"I always knew for some reason that it would happen if I kept going," she told reporters backstage after the finale. "At some point I said, 'American Idol obviously doesn't want me, so why would I go back?' But I found myself on the website, looking at auditions again and being determined. I just couldn't stay away."

All the American Idol judges performed on Thursday night's finale... except for Nicki Minaj.
On a night chock-full of performances, including Korean pop sensation Psy and Aretha Franklin via satellite, the "Superbass" singer's absence from the stage was conspicuous. The omission wasn't a snub though.

Just one week after Randy Jackson announced he would not be returning to the judges table after this season of American Idol come reports that Nicki Minaj will also be vacating her post.
According to Us Weekly, an anonymous source said, "It's safe to say she isn't coming back to Idol. She's okay with it. She had a great time but was only going to do one season anyway." Fox would not comment on the report.
