Neal McDonough will star in TNT's drama pilot LA Noir, Deadline reports.

The project, which will be written and directed by former Walking Dead showrunner Frank Darabont, is about the decades-long conflict between the LAPD and the L.A. mob. McDonough will play former LAPD chief William Parker, who's dedicated to taking corruption out of the police department.

McDonough's previous small screen roles include stints on Boomtown and Desperate Housewives. He is currently appearing as one the villains on the third season of Justified.
