Melissa George, who is recurring on The Good Wife this season as Peter Florrick's in-house ethics counsel Marilyn Garbanza, welcomed a boy on Feb. 6, she announced on Twitter.
"Welcome to the world! Our beautiful son just born at the American hospital of Paris," she wrote. "There are no words to describe the love."
Son Raphaël Blanc is the first for the actress, 37, and her boyfriend, Jean-David Blanc. George's pregnancy was written into her character's story line on The Good Wife and became a major focal point midway through the season when her character revealed she was naming her unborn baby Peter after the child's father. After some digging, it was revealed the father of her child was famed director Peter Bogdanovich, not new Illinois Governor Peter Florrick (Chris Noth).
George is also known for her roles on Alias and Grey's Anatomy.
