Earlier this season, The Good Wife shocked viewers when Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Cary (Matt Czuchry) left Lockhart/Gardner to start their own firm. However, it looks like the acclaimed legal drama was just getting started.

In a new promo for the series' return (Sunday, 9/8c, CBS), it looks like Peter's alleged ballot tampering to win the Governor's race may come back to bite Alicia. "This is serious, Mrs. Florrick. You could go to prison yourself," Alicia is informed.
