Fashion expert Lawrence Zarian will be blogging on TVGuide.com leading up to the Emmy Awards on Aug. 29. He'll also host Emmys Red Carpet Fashion Wrap with Lawrence Zarian, which premieres on TV Guide Network on Monday, Aug. 30 at 8/7c.

Good morning, L.A.!

Woke up with a very full plate today, but I'm so excited for my first 2010 Emmys meeting with one of my favorite TV Guide Network producers, Nikki K., as well as Christina and the rest of the team!

Lots to prep for the red carpet, and now with my new responsibilities as host of The Fashion Wrap, I could not be more excited and ready to meet everything head-on.

Marc Istook, my longtime TV buddy, Tanika Ray and of course, the man of all media Chris Harrison will all be on the red carpet talking to television's brightest Aug. 29 starting at 5 ET/2 PT.

Wow! Can't wait to talk to Julianna Margulies, January Jones and Jane Lynch — stars from three of my favorite shows on TV.

There's always plenty of the unexpected on the red carpet, like last year's heat wave, but most fun was working with Chris and trying/hoping/pleading for juicy insider info from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette (my own guilty pleasure). 

As you know our "countdown" show will recall last year's fashion hits and misses, as well as capturing who is wearing what at this year's event!  

From there, I was off to Entertainment Tonight! Greeted there by my producer, John (great guy!), and the ever-fab makeup team. Can you say Katy Perry and Leighton Meester? Did a great Kohl's "look for less" segment about cool, affordable back-to-school looks inspired by these terrific two.

Whether it's at TV Guide Network, Entertainment Tonight or anywhere else, I love passing on stylish tips and fashion tricks for getting a great look no matter what your budget may be.

The Emmys are only two weeks away — yikes! Who cares who will win? The bigger question: What's a fashion guy to wear?
