Good News! No Nipples on Ben Affleck's Batman Costume

Although comic book fans may not have welcomed the announcement of Ben Affleck as the new Batman with open arms, at least they'll be relieved to hear that his Batsuit will be missing one (or is it two?) design element: nipples.

Although comic book fans may not have welcomed the announcement of Ben Affleck as the new Batman with open arms, at least they'll be relieved to hear that his Batsuit will be missing one (or is it two?) design element: nipples.
"There wasn't a single nipple on this fricking suit," Kevin Smith said on his podcast Hollywood Babble-On. He's of course poking fun at the infamous, anatomically enhanced Batsuit that George Clooney had to wear as the Caped Crusader in 1997'sBatman & Robin. Smith, who has worked with Affleck on several films, got a sneak preview of the costume that Affleck will wear opposite Henry Cavill's Superman in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman. "You have not seen this costume in film before. Because every other movie has done this Matrix, X-Menblack armor thing.

"For a comic book fan it was mind-bending," added the filmmaker and comic book writer. "I'm already a flag waver for this movie, but the costume, it blew my mind."
