The 91st Academy Awards, held Sunday in Los Angeles, were expected to be at best a snoozefest or a complete dumpster fire after the Kevin Hart drama in December led to the Academy's decision to forgo a host for Hollywood's biggest night. However, the show actually went off without a hitch, and a series of funny presenters, sweet moments and moving speeches amounted to a pretty good awards show... at least until the very end.
There were some great jokes and historic wins, along with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga almost uncomfortably making out and a shocking (and somewhat upsetting) Best Picture winner that ended things on a sour note for some viewers.
