Will she finally land him? It's Valentine's Day on The Big Bang Theory, and Amy (Mayim Bialik) is taking Sheldon (Jim Parsons) — the sexually squeamish nerd of her dreams — to California's wine country for a romantic getaway at a bed-and-breakfast. With separate bedrooms, of course. Oh, and it's a double date with Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch). Plus, Sheldon's really only going because there's a train ride involved. Still, a girl can hope, can't she?

"It was huge for Amy to discover in our Christmas episode that Sheldon has her picture as his screen saver, so she really thinks she has a chance with the guy, despite so much evidence to the contrary," says executive producer Steven Molaro, who promises a moment for the dippy duo that is "big and beautiful and really special."

Raj (Kunal Nayyar) also leaves town — to avoid the pain of a solo Valentine's Day — which is good news for Penny and Leonard (Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki). "It's their chance to have a quiet weekend together," Molaro says. "But as they're busy having, ahem, adult relations, Raj's dog, Cinnamon — whom they're babysitting — eats an entire box of chocolates. So Leonard and Penny end up spending their romantic evening at the vet's office."

But even that has an upside. When Raj returns home, he meets the gorgeous veterinarian (Switched at Birth's Tania Raymonde) who treated Cinnamon, and she finds Raj utterly adorable. Score another one for Cupid!

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS.
