Bubble bath + a bottle of champagne + Battlestar hottie = one nerd-tastic Big Bang Theory. Battlestar Galactica alum Katee Sackhoff drops by Monday's episode to dispense some words of wisdom to a newly dating Howard Wolowitz — and soap him up in the tub too. "It's an interesting way to meet someone, getting naked and stepping into a bathtub," Simon Helberg, who can also currently be seen in the film A Serious Man, tells TVGuide.com. "I usually wait until after a handshake, but we basically popped right in there and did it — did the scene, that is." See what advice Starbuck has for the skirt-chasing genius, what's in store for Wolowitz's love life, and get an update on the Dr. Horrible sequel!

Talk about your miracles of modern science. Just last week, the TVGuide.com video crew paid a visit to the set of CBS' increasingly popular The Big Bang Theory — and the episode we saw them taping airs tonight! It's a great one, too, as Sheldon's new "friendship" with robot war rival Kripke forces him to "vote out" a member of his existing (anti)social circle. Jim Parsons shares a look at the episode in the video after the jump!

Perhaps Simon Helberg is ashamed to admit that he shares some of the same qualities (or at least the same fashion sense) that make The Big Bang Theory's (Mondays at 8 pm/ET, CBS) Howard Wolowitz "the biggest nerd on the planet." But as long as he keeps the laughs coming, we couldn't care less. We chatted with Helberg to see how he stayed busy during the strike, what new levels of geekdom we can expect in the remaining episodes and just where the man and dork divide.
TVGuide.com: So how happy are you to be back at work?Simon Helberg: I'm very glad to have a reason to leave the house. I turned into a bit of a hobbit over that little hiatus. I was bearded and felt like I belonged at Woodstock or something. So I finally shaved and showered and came back to work, which is just great.

Question: I was totally prepared to hate The Big Bang Theory, so I was surprised at how much I like it. It is one of the few new sitcoms that I find really funny, and sometimes it actually makes me laugh out loud. What do you think of it? How is it doing?

It's awfully endearing; Jim Parsons is a deadpan hoot as Sheldon, and when the entire geek squad is assembled (including scene-stealer Simon Helberg as Wolowitz), it's a riot. My favorite episode to date: when Sara Gilbert's fellow-scientist character used Leonard (Johnny Galecki, her former Roseanne costar) for sex, while Sheldon fretted outside the bedroom door with the tie on the doorknob. The scenes in that episode at the Cheesecake Factory, where Sheldon found a new home for his obsessive-compulsive behavior (to the chagrin of Penny th ...
