TV Guide Network Unveils Plans for Awards Show Season

TV Guide Network is gearing up for another season of awards show coverage, with Chris Harrison returning as both host and executive producer. TV Guide Network is gearing up for another season of awards show coverage, with Chris Harrison returning as both host and executive producer.

"We'll bring viewers inside Hollywood's most celebrated events with exclusive interviews with the biggest names in film and television," Harrison said in a statement. "It will be live TV at its best."

The season of coverage begins with post-show analysis of the Golden Globes on Monday, Jan. 17 with fashion expert Lawrence Zarian, who will review the best- and worst-dressed stars on Golden Globes Red Carpet Fashion Wrap at 8/7c.

On Sunday, Jan. 30, TV Guide Network will have a live one-hour countdown show for the Screen Actors Guild Awards starting at 5 ET/2 PT, followed by two hours of live coverage on Screen Actors Guild Awards Red Carpet with Chris Harrison. The next night at 8/7c, Zarian and a team of stylists will critique the dresses, jewels, shoes and hairstyles on Screen Actors Guild Awards Red Carpet Fashion Wrap.

Grammy Awards coverage begins at 5/4c on Sunday, Feb. 13 with a one-hour countdown show hosted by American Idolalum Justin Guarini and Zarian. At 6/5c, Harrison will be on hand for the two-hour red carpet show,  Grammy Awards Red Carpet with Chris Harrison. On Monday, Feb. 14, Zarian returns with his Grammy Awards Red Carpet Fashion Wrap at 8/7c.

Rounding out the awards show season is TV Guide Network's live coverage of the Academy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 27. History of Oscar Fashion will air at 4 ET/1 PT, followed by a one-hour countdown show. Harrison will interview the film industry's biggest stars beginning at 6 ET/3 PT during the two-hour live show, Academy Awards Red Carpet with Chris Harrison. Zarian & Co. return to review the ceremony's best and worst fashion on Monday night with Academy Awards Red Carpet Fashion Wrap at 8/7c.

Along with TV Guide Network's television coverage, TVGuide.com will feature news and photo galleries throughout the season and deliver a live streaming "Fashion Cam" as celebrities arrive on the red carpets of the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the Grammy Awards and the Academy Awards.
