There's nothing dainty about the new Snow White.
Although Snow White and the Huntsman hasn't begun filming just yet, fans at the movie's Comic-Con panel were treated to a first look at the new take on the classic fairy tale. Kristen Stewart stars as Snow White, and based on the photos, she's looking strong and fierce. Her outfit and armor were designed by Oscar winner Colleen Atwood.
In the movie, Snow White escapes from the Evil Queen (Charlize Theron) and is chased by her Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth), who, after catching up to Snow White, can't bear to bring her back as instructed. Instead, they team up. "It's not a little girl sitting by a well with tweety birds telling her what's going on," director Rupert Sanders said at the panel on Saturday.
Also announced during the panel were the film's eight dwarfs: Nick Frost, Ray Winstone, Toby Jones, Ian McShane, Johnny Harris, Bob Hoskins, Eddie Marsan and Brian Gleeson. Sam Claflin also stars as the Prince.
