Ryan O'Neal's Son Ordered to Rehab

A month after being arrested along with his father Ryan on suspicion of drug possession, Redmond O'Neal has admitted to relapsing and was ordered into a two-week drug treatment program, People reports.
"You're a stand-up guy to come here and deal with your problem," Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Millington told O'Neal. "I want you to stay clean... You better stay clean or the hammer is going to fall."
O'Neal, 23, was in the middle of his three-year probation for DUI and drug possession at the time of his arrest. During a routine check-up, authorities discovered what appeared to have been methamphetamines in his father's bedroom. Ryan O'Neal's attorney has since denied the drugs belonged to the actor.
No charges have been filed yet.
The younger O'Neal is scheduled to return to court Oct. 23 following completion of the treatment program at UCLA health center.
